Night-Blooming Cereus

This botanical design is inspired by one of my personal favorite flowers, Selenicereus grandiflorus, commonly known as the Night-Blooming Cereus. A mysterious cactus with long oblate leaves, this plant only blooms one night a year during the summer and withers within hours. Despite it’s transience, the Night-Blooming Cereus’ large, elaborate, ghostly blooms are worth the wait.
